Founder & Chairman
From real estate expertise to large – scale arbitration negotiating, Mr. Muhammad Al Misned’s portfolio is one that demonstration skillset and strong business acumen, proven by his long and varied career, which began after graduating in Architectural Engineering with a major in Project Management from the University of Colorado Boulder in 1992.
Combining architecture expertise with that of construction and transportation, Mr. Al Misned has become sponsor and partner in some of Qatar’s foremost grand-scale projects, including the Petroleum District and its Rail and Metro systems. He has also thrived in the supervision of the land and maintenance program for Qatari Embassies.
Mr. Al Misned’s work has its foundations in guiding Qatar’s most important national projects to fruition, but he has also masterfully executed the development of multiple international projects and successfully led in mediation between governments and corporations.
Spanning both the domestic and international spheres, Mr. Al Misned has worked closely with many companies including DEUTSCHE BAHN, SIEMENS AG , VOLTAS LIMITED , DAFG, BOUYGUES, VINCI, MARBU, LEONARDO, ELECTRONICA, “A” GRADE CONSTRUCTION COMPANIES, CAMCE, HOCHTIEF SOLUTION, STREIF BAULOGISTIK , BILLFINGER BERGER GMPH, PORR QATAR, AKZIO , TUM INTERNATIONAL , PRODEA AND VIRGIN.
Not one for all work and no play, Mr. Al Misned has made time to enjoy his passions outside of his businesses. Since 2007, he has been Chairman of Al Khor Football Club and is also become patron of the Librtha Heritage Center’s elite competition for falconry.
Educating the youth of tomorrow has always been a priority, so it was only natural that Mr. Al Misned would found and become Chairman of the German University of Qatar, Established & Managed by (TUM), based in Qatar. Continuing this link between Germany and Qatar, he has recently been elected Vice President of DAFG – Berlin’s German Arab Friendship Association.
Investment Strategy
Taking advantage of the excellent network of contacts around the world, RWH is able to easily identify a wide range of investment opportunities that could provide benefits to our clients.
The criteria for investment are established following discussions with the client, in order to understand their needs and expectations, the nature of their required investment fields, the type of ownership criteria i.e. sole ownership, joint venture partner, and the level of management required.
Once the project has been identified, analysis and report are undertaken and presented to the client for review and confirmation of key deliverables and next steps.
If a project is deemed to be of interest to the client it will be further analyzed using expert consultants and legal counsel as appropriate to establish the real value of the project from the market and feasibility surveys to valuation, financial and legal due diligence studies.
If the results were found to be satisfactory, RWH would then establish further activities such as negotiation of the shares sales or the assets of an existing property, management of the design and the construction of the project and undertaking of necessary administrative and legal requirements for the commissioning of the development.
This might include the lease or purchase of the land rights; obtaining of the necessary building permits, the identification of the various specialists such as designers, interior decorators, specialized contractors from different sectors and the project management to ensure a project delivery that will be in time and within the allocated budget.
In all cases, RWH will ensure that the optimum tax and capital repatriation facilities are obtained by working directly with the concerned authorities both at a political and economic level.
RWH clients are investors and developers of major projects in industry, infrastructure, and construction. RWH projects range from power plants, infrastructure works, urban development, design, and construction, providing asset management services specializing in hospitality and medical facilities as well as a supply of industrial products for oil & gas sector.
